Young girl set to raise a large amount of money for Cancer

A young girl from Kettering is set to shave her hair off for charity and donate the hair to a good cause.

Georgina Kibble, 17, from Kettering will be shaving her head for Cancer Research UK on July 18th.

Miss Kibble, who attends Southfields School for Girls, will be shaving her hair during school-time, asking staff and students to come along and watch for a 'small donation'.

Not only will she be donating money, her hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, who create wigs for children that have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.

She added, "I have chosen to donate the hair to the Little Princess Trust as I think it is truly amazing the work that they do, and not many people know about what they do."

Miss Kibble's best friends mother had recently been diagnosed with cancer, but a few weeks ago was given the all-clear.

However, she said "This is not the same for other patients, that is why on July 18th I will be shaving my hair with all the sponsorship money going to Cancer Research UK."

To sponsor Miss Kibble, visit her JustGiving page, http://www.justgiving.com/Georgina-Kibble or text 'GMMK90 £3' to 70070 to donate £3.
